- The New Zealand secondary schools team is selected from the top 12 scores overall from the aggregate of the inter-secondary school match and the inter-island secondary schools match.
- All team members will shoot 2 x 10-shot UK targets against Great Britain.
- Certificates and medals will be awarded to all members of the team, along with a British pennant.
- There will be a plate match (2 x 10-shot UK targets) for those not selected for the New Zealand team.
