Many thanks once again to those who assisted with the next batch moving to slings yesterday. The process went very smoothly, and Conrad Draper and Ashley Parker are already showing good signs of natural ability with each shooting two scores in the 80s, their highest both being 88.1. Neakiry Kivi moved into a sling last week and continued to shoot exceptionally well this week, scoring 93.3. On the rest Sarah May was top shot with 85.0. Three more will move to slings next Sunday, with the final group of three the following week.

Top shot in D Grade this week was Nick Desi with 92.3, followed by Ronan Balm with 90.0. In C Grade Callum Osborne had a great night, shooting 95.4 and 97.1; Erin Little was next highest with 92.1. The competition is close in B Grade with both Maor Ben-Shahar and Sergey Kladnitski scoring 96.3 on their comp cards, and Craig Fair shooting 96.4 as part of his 20-shot card. Sergey Klatniski also shot a 98.2 practice card, great shooting! It was extremely close in A Grade as well with Dianne Grain shooting 98.6 to finish an inner ahead of David Grain 98.5; Jess Fair was only inners behind on 98.3. Pratik Tailor shot the best 10-shot card this week, 100.5, a point ahead of Michael Grain's 99.5. There were many great scores shot on 20-shot cards, Michael was highest with 199.16 (including 100.8) and 198.15; then Evan Little with 198.11, followed by 197s shot by Pratik, Dianne, and Meredith Ackrill.

As from tomorrow, all competition scores shot at the club, or in other matches, should be recorded on the Excel spreadsheet. Alternatively pick up a hard copy version of the spreadsheet at the club next week.

Please remember that if you have a gap on the scoreboard, you have a six-week period in which to shoot an extra competition card. After that the gap cannot be filled in, so to get up to date, stamp both cards competition next week. Also consider shooting in the evening session so that you can get some practice in on 20-shot cards.

The deadline to pay your subs is Sunday 13 August. If you are unsure how much you need to pay, please contact Evan.
