Club Shooting

For the second week in a row, all our D Graders recorded scores in the 90s. The top two scores were both PBs for their respective shooters: Analin Rudd scored 96.4 and Ellie Mazey scored 96.1 - congratulations! Jaz Hamilton's 98.4 was top of C Grade followed by Finn Ashby's 94.1. In B Grade, only 3 inners separated the top two scores. Ben Dunning's 98.6 led ahead of Clive Brodie's 98.3. The top score of the night, 99.8, was shot by Meredith Ackrill with Megan Brodie close behind on 98.6. The lead switched in the 20 shots, with Megan scoring 198.13 and Meredith 195.10.

Interclub
Round 4 of the interclub competition was shot on Wednesday night. The C Grade team unfortunately lost to Wellington Central. Top shot for Brooklyn was Jaz Hamilton with 96.4. The Open team recorded a win against Wellington Central to move into 1st equal place with Melrose. Top shot for Brooklyn was Meredith Ackrill with 198.9.

Wellington Open Champs
The Wellington Open Champs was held on Friday and Saturday. Many thanks to everyone who helped run Brooklyn's section of the event - there were several positive comments about our organisation! It was good to see lots of club members compete, with some fantastic results:
  • Bex Baines (297.19): top Wellington Master Grader and top Wellington Woman
  • Megan Brodie (296.20): 1st in A Grade and top Wellington A Grader. Megan also competed in the Final 10 and placed 5th overall
  • Jaz Hamilton (289.9): 2nd C Grade and top Wellington C Grader
  • Meredith Ackrill, Megan Brodie and Erin Little (886.46): 2nd in the Teams Competition
Well done also to those members who participated in their first open competition.
