We had a busy night on Sunday with five visitors as well as many of our members. Thank you everyone for helping out with running the night.

Many of you have used the last two weeks to catch up on our competition shoots, which is great. Next Sunday we start the next five-week series of the club competition. If the whole 'club competition' thing is a mystery to you, Stephen will be happy to fill you in.

Last night we shot the first round of the Wellington Interclub competition. Brooklyn has entered teams in all three grades (C, B and Open), and had a win in the Open. Congratulations to those who shot well.

Closed Champs

Most of you who are in your second year or more of shooting have entered the Wellington Closed Champs. This match consists of 6 x 10 shot matches, with one card due every three weeks. We now have the targets and the first round needs to be shot by Sunday 1 June. Remember that is King's Birthday, so if you are away that weekend make sure you shoot your card next week.

SSS Champs

Secondary school shooters have been entered in the Secondary School Shooting Champs. This is a national postal competition set up and run by Brooklyn. It consists of 3 x 10 shot matches and 1 x 20 shot match, spread across the season. The first 10 shot card is also due on Sunday 1 June. Again, if you're going to be away for King's Birthday weekend, make sure you shoot your SSS card next week.

Association representative matches

Next Tuesday, 27 May, is the first of the Wellington Interassociation postal matches - the Junior and B grade matches. Keep an eye out in your emails for the teams, which will be selected shortly.
