I hope you all enjoyed the club prize-giving on Sunday.  Congratulations to the members who won awards:

We had a fun last night of shooting for the season on Sunday 5 October.  Bex demonstrated cool nerve in the 90 second shoot, achieving an impressive 98.  Shooting on the reverse of the target was a challenge - especially for me, I shot on Mikey’s target instead of my own.  I completely forgot I was shooting next to, not on my favourite mound!  Over both rounds, Meredith and Ross tied to win the fun shoots.

Thanks to everyone who helped out with cleaning all the club rifles afterwards.

Summer Shooting:

Summer shooting is available from 7pm on Thursdays until mid-December, and then from late January if there is enough interest.  Evan and I will be at the range on Thursday.

• cost: $10 - South Wellington is hosting, this is their usual visitor fee
• club gear and ammunition: Evan and I will ensure this is available
• confirm your interest please by reply email
• no pressure to be there each week, just when it suits you
• we’ll confirm attendance via a WhatsApp group, also so we can advise if we won’t be there

WSRA Prize-giving:

the WSRA end of season dinner and prize-giving is being held on Saturday 18 October from 6pm.  Everyone is welcome.

Venturers - Wednesday 19 November

Another date for your diary: from 7pm on Wednesday 19 November 1st Karori Venturers are visiting to have a go at shooting.  Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated for this group of 24 Scout members.
