Welcome to our new members!  It’s great to have so many new folk at the club.  Please feel free to pitch in and help with running our club night.  Getting gear out of storage and organising equipment on arrival, and preparing and hanging targets during the evening really helps the night to run smoothly.  As you get to know things better, we will also show you how to mark targets, which will help you learn more about the sport.

Club night now starts at 6pm

With lots of new shooters this year, doors open at 6pm every Sunday.  Come along early to get on the first squads.

A reminder for our new members to sign the register, squad in and prepare a target on arrival.

4pm Gear Fitting

This week Jeshna, Leo, Levon and Zahra will be fitted with jacket, sling and rifle.  Please arrive at 4pm for this.  We will have dinner afterwards, before club practice begins.  Cost of dinner is $5, please pay to the Brooklyn Smallbore Rifle Club account 38-9005-0731057-00.

5pm Start for Experienced Shooters

With members at the range early this week, our experienced shooters (second year and seniors) are welcome to arrive from 5pm for early squads.

Membership fees and forms

A reminder that membership fees are due for payment now, to the Brooklyn Smallbore Rifle Club account 38-9005-0731057-00.  And if you have not completed Club and TSNZ membership forms please do so this week and hand to Evan or Meredith.

Learn to use a scope

Rob will be running another session with our second year shooters on how to use a scope this week (Alex, Marek, Myles, Megha).
