It was a relatively quiet club session on Sunday, thanks to the school holidays.

New member fittings

Ethan, Evan and Ryan were all fitted with jacket and sling on Sunday, and shot a couple of cards.  It will take a while to get used to your new setup, and there will no doubt be some adjustments over the coming weeks, but with perseverance you will get good results.

Great  shooting in their second week in jacket and sling by Kaitlyn (92.2) and Trevor (90.2).

Thomas, it’s your turn this weekend!  Remember to wear a long-sleeved top without a hood that you will wear under your shooting jacket.  It is important that we get the fit of the jacket right from the beginning - you should use the same top each week for consistency.  You don’t want bulk.  A long-sleeved t-short is good, a fine merino is perfect.

Congratulations on excellent shooting

Congratulations to:

  • both Ross and Gerry on shooting 100.6
  • Eli and Filly for super shooting across multiple cards - highs of 96.2 and 97.5 respectively
  • Sienna and Zahra for great shooting with 91.3 and 92.1 respectively

Busy start this Sunday

Wellington shooters are participating in trials on Sunday afternoon for the Teams of Ten competition coming up in May.  While this should be finished by 4pm, there will likely be a few folk still finishing up.

Please help out with setting up for our club when you arrive.

Upcoming events
